Massively parallel sample preparation for multiplexed single-cell proteomics using nPOP

Leduc et. al have developed nPOP, a revolutionary method for single-cell proteomics that enables researchers to prepare thousands of high-quality single-cell samples with remarkable flexibility.

Utilizing nanoliter volume droplets on glass slides, nPOP supports various multiplexed mass spectrometry methods. Implemented on the CellenONE instrument with readily available consumables, nPOP streamlines sample preparation, making it a valuable tool for researchers exploring the intricacies of single-cell proteomics.

Leveraging these innovative sample preparation techniques in a plexDIA workflow allows for accurate quantification of up to 3,700 proteins per human cell, paving the way for comprehensive single-cell protein analysis.

With its potential to scale and support high-throughput analysis, nPOP promises to advance our understanding of cell types and their roles in biological processes.
This study was conducted exclusively using IonOpticks Aurora Ultimate 25 cm and Aurora Ultimate CSI 25 cm nanoflow UHPLC columns.
